Valerie has been employed with the Richmond NCS office since September of 2005, beginning her career as the office secretary. Striving to move up the ladder, she is now Assistant Vice President and Commercial Escrow Officer assisting Doug Atkins and Chris Newman on both national portfolios and single site Virginia transactions. Valerie provides service and support in a variety of ways from collecting closing requirements, preparing settlement statements, disbursing funds, and once the deal has closed she makes sure the final policies and the original recorded documents are returned to the appropriate parties. In addition, she assists our team of Virginia underwriters in preparing commitments and policies.

In 2006, Valerie was nominated for the Circle of Excellence Award for the categories of Secretarial/Word Processing and Customer Service at the corporate convention in Las Vegas, NV.

Valerie was born, raised and currently live in Chesterfield County, Virginia. She is active in the community, participating for several years in the Special Olympics and MDA telethons. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys scrapbooking and running in local races and half marathons in the area. Her greatest masterpieces are her two sons.
