Guy V. Ward serves as a Title Specialist for the Richmond NCS operation, assisting in the examination, review and underwriting of national and commercial transactions throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He has examined titles in over 100 Virginia Circuit Court Clerk’s offices, and has expertise in all types of commercial development, including shopping centers, office parks, condominiums, and industrial facilities. Guy is well versed in the handling of fee simple, leasehold, easement and mineral ownership estates, as well.

Guy has served in the title industry from 1986 to present, working for Safeco Title before joining the Fidelity family of title insurers serving with both Chicago Title Insurance Company and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. Guy’s former position included duty as national transactions coordinator for several major energy development companies. .

Guy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Virginia Tech in 1981 (magna cum laude), and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his Paralegal Certificate from National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, GA, in 1986.
